Problem
FirstRock, as a startup investment firm, required a professional outsource IT provider to handle all their technology and security requirements. The Firstrock management team indicated that their main business focus was to create value for investors by investing in key areas such as real estate and not on managing non-core functions such as their IT infrastructure.
